BFA Roadshow Organic & Biological Production Workshops - 2010!
Organic food is the flavour of the future and the latest news on organic industry developments and opportunities will be on show at the Biological Farmers of Australia Organic Roadshows 2010.
The BFA Roadshows – held nationwide each year – aim to foster knowledge, information sharing and networking amongst farmers who are interested in lowering their inputs, and gaining an understanding of how to manage an environmentally and financially sustainable farming business. The roadshows interest those in the fields of sustainable, biological, organic and biodynamic agriculture and feature guest speakers from successful A-Grade organic operations; as well as soil specialists, wholesalers and other experts in their fields.
In conjunction with Roadshows are BFA Networking Dinner, are an excellent chance to mix not only with primary producers, but value-adders, food, clothing and cosmetics manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, marketers and others.

Hit the road running with the BFA’s 2010 Organic Roadshows!
The BFA Roadshows are a simple, accessible and in some cases, only, opportunity for producers and others to gain insight into certified organics in their region.
Attendees learn first-hand how industry is progressing, hear tips from successful stakeholders, and become familiar with supply chains and what is involved in going organic.
At a time when sustainable industry growth depends on networking, education and collaborative information, the BFA sees its roadshows as an essential tool in organic advancement.
In addition, the roadshows connect BFA with its grass roots. A separate dinner allows BFA Group members to meet with the chairman and BFA staff/ directors to offer their suggestions for the direction of the company's future.

Members and clients have provided much needed support to keep the roadshows on the road since long-standing Chairman Doug Haas organised the first roadshows 10 years ago.
Sponsorship opportunities allow organic businesses to market their services and products to those with a genuine interest in organics.
